UniBank, based in Lynnwood, WA, is one of the fastest growing community banks in the
PacificNorthwest. We are constantly looking for qualified candidates that can perform with
the highest level of customer service.
The Accounts Payable Specialist will ensure the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and employee reimbursements in compliance with UniBank policies and procedures.
This position will perform 80% accounting duties and 20% administrative and other duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Own the Accounts Payable process, including
• Processes vendor payments and employee reimbursements
• Process corporate credit cards
• Set up vendors and issue 1099s
• Research and resolve any invoice discrepancies
• Perform monthly closing procedures for Accounts Payable
• Perform certain general accounting tasks
• Facilitate AP related projects
• Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Attention to detail is a must
• Strong analytical skills preferred
• Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures
• Strong initiative for process improvements
• Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff, vendors, clients, and other departments
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
• Korean language skill is a plus
• Integrity and honesty
Education, Experience and Certifications
• Post-secondary degree required
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
• Accounting education or certification preferred
• At least a year of Accounts Payable or General Accounting experience preferred
• Experience in the banking industry is plus
• Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word)
